We have been expanding ever since, and following our acquisition of E-Consort Hosting Solutions in 2005 we began to advertise our services to a wider audience.
We have considerable experience of managing Linux systems to provide network services, and run a number of servers in different data centres across the UK, for increased reliability. We pride ourselves in the ability to provide custom solutions to fit a wide range of different scenarios — indeed, we enjoy the opportunity to provide unusual services! — and yet we do not allow this to compromise the quality of our more conventional hosting packages.
Retrosnub is continually looking for ways to expand the range of services we can offer. One of our main ongoing projects is the development of our Control Panel, to put more aspects of the hosting package directly into the hands of the customer. The Control Panel has been developed entirely in-house.
At the same time, we will constantly evaluate the capacity of our network, in order to ensure that we remove any potential bottlenecks and upgrade or replace systems that are nearing capacity.
The most frequent non-technical question we receive is “what does retrosnub mean?” Well, it's taken from the name of a polyhedron, the Great Inverted Retrosnub Icosidodecahedron. So now you know!
